Meet Our Attorneys
Nathan is a trial lawyer who leads SW&L’s Personal Injury department. One of Nathan’s passions in the law is helping people and families who have had their life catastrophically changed due to a semi truck crash.
Adam leads SW&L’s Business Law and Real Estate Practice Groups. He helps small and medium business organizations from start-up to succession, often serving as fractional general counsel. Adam focuses on negotiating, drafting, and closing business and real estate transactions. Adam has helped clients with over $500 million in transactions to date.
Greg leads SW&L’s Family Law Practice Group. He helps people with adoptions, divorces, and custody matters.
Lee concentrates his practice in the areas of construction litigation and commercial litigation. Lee’s practice includes business disputes, payment disputes, breach of contract, construction defects, construction negligence, express warranties, implied warranties, and construction liens and mechanic’s liens. He helps clients in all stages of a lawsuit, including mediation, arbitration, and jury trial. Lee also has extensive appellate experience. He has appeared before the North Dakota Supreme Court over 50 times.
Jesse is a guardianship and conservatorship, estate planning, and probate/trust attorney. Jesse helps his clients in all stages of planning from seeking guardianships and conservatorships over a loved one and preparing comprehensive estate plans to helping clients address the issues and litigation that can arise when a loved one has died. To date, Jesse has been involved in over 70 guardianship and conservatorship matters. Jesse also routinely serves as a guardian ad litem.
Adam leads SW&L’s Criminal Defense Practice Group. Adam helps individuals who are charged with felonies, misdemeanors, infractions, and traffic citations in North Dakota and Minnesota in both state and federal court. Adam also assists individuals with sealing their criminal record in North Dakota, obtaining a governor’s pardon in North Dakota, petitioning to have an individual’s gun rights reinstated in North Dakota, and other gun rights issues in North Dakota.
Ben is an attorney in SW&L’s Family Law Practice Group specializing in divorce, custody, child support, adoption, and restraining order cases. Ben has a reputation for both resolving complicated cases efficiently and litigating difficult cases skillfully. Of foremost importance to Ben is understanding clients’ needs and finding creative ways to meet their goals.
Kylee is an associate attorney working with the personal injury team at SW&L Attorneys. Kylee is passionate about helping individuals seek justice following the worst moments of their life.
Dom’s primary areas of practice include evictions, business disputes, payment disputes, breach of contract, construction defects, construction negligence, express warranties, implied warranties, and construction liens and mechanic’s liens.
Priscila Ulloa is an associate attorney at SW&L Attorneys, focusing on Family Law. Since joining the firm in 2022, she has been dedicated to helping clients navigate a variety of family matters, from custody and visitation to child support, divorce (both contested and uncontested), contempt cases, adoptions, restraining orders, and name changes. With her fluency in Spanish, Priscila is uniquely positioned to provide clear, trusted legal advice to Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring they receive personalized support throughout their family law matter.
Jesse’s lifelong interest in civil rights and criminal justice issues led him to focus his career on defending people accused of crimes. During his years as a criminal defense lawyer, Jesse has represented people from all walks of life as they faced a variety of serious criminal charges in the courts of North Dakota, Minnesota, and the Federal government.
Kathryn is a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She assists clients with estate planning, probates, and seeking guardianships and conservatorships over family members.
Jim works primarily with the personal injury team, but is also available to help with research and appellate work across all of SW&L’s Practice Groups. He is sympathetic to the plight of injured clients, having himself suffered severe injuries to his left foot and leg in an accident.
